Advocacy
- Assist individuals with becoming better self-advocates
- Provide advocacy support on behalf of consumers having difficulty accessing services
- Collaborate with local and county government to assure ADA Accessibility for all facilities
- Board member on Richland County Coalition on Housing and Homeless Prevention
- Participate in system advocacy to address barriers facing individuals with disabilities
Information & Referral
- ILC provides crisis navigation to identify needs and referrals to available community resources and supports

Independent Living Skills
- ICE Cubicle - Integrating Consumer Educational training on site
- Partner with Richland County DD for self-advocacy and independent living skills training classes
- Independent living and life skills training with youth to develop independence in the home and community
- Partner with public schools to teach independent living skills, advocacy, personal care, and community access
- Focused independent living skills for adults to maintain an independent lifestyle
Peer Support
- Collaborate with hospitals, doctors, and therapists to enhance services and supports allowing for continued independence
- Partner with case workers, counselors, and caregivers to provide technical assistance, individual services, and direct support
- Facilitate faith-based support groups working with many organizations throughout the community
- Adult Socialization Support Group, facilitated by individuals with disabilities, providing activities to promote growth and independence and increase a self-directed lifestyle

- Collaboration with Community Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCD) for Home Safe Devices
- Collaboration with Area Agency on Aging (ADRN)
- United Way Allocation Program for assistive technology and durable medical equipment
- TIPS (Training Individuals for Personal Success) Program specific to United Way
- Youth Transitional Services to compliment and weave them through life skills, education, social, and family challenges
- SAILS (Students Achieving Independence & Life Skills) using a fun and recreational approach to develop and increase independence, while increasing the understanding of disability for all younger students
- SODA (Speaking Out for Disability Awareness) focus groups, based on age, to identify ways to manage challenges and barriers and preserve their independence in their home and community
- Blooming Seniors – a program for seniors to increase independence and decrease depression and isolation. A summer full of adventure cultivating fun, food, plants, crafts, self-advocacy, self-awareness, social integration, inclusion, acceptance, and community awareness
- Summer Youth Programs focused on independent living skills, family, community, social skills, and continuing education through an array of fun-filled activities and venues
